About Me
Hi, I'm Ashley.
"I'm a regular human, too."
I’m a licensed psychotherapist in California. Like everyone, I’m a mix of all kinds of identities, life experiences, and stories. I’m a millennial, a late-life diagnosed neurodivergent, mother to neurodivergent children. I'm also Chicana, queer, a yearner, a deep (often over) thinker, and the first in my family to go to therapy. Outside of being a therapist, I enjoy spending time in nature, cooking and baking, singing karaoke (badly), kayaking, going to concerts, and spending time with my kids and dogs. I'm always trying to do my best at practicing what I preach by caring for my own physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Some days I'm better than others, and I keep trying.
I truly believe that connection and "fit" is at the core of the therapeutic relationship. I also know that I cannot MAKE you have feelings of trust and safety in session. However, I am deeply committed to showing up to each session with humility, curiosity and as my authentic self.
In doing so I hope to create space for you to feel empowered to do the same. I believe you are the expert on your own life. My job is to help you access what you already know and build the tools to move forward with confidence.

Approach & Training
My Approach
I use a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive framework that centers your lived experience. My work is grounded in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and somatic awareness. While I have a depth of clinical training and experience, our sessions are not full of clinical jargon, or generic - "tell me how that made you feel." I meet you where you are — whether that's in the midst of life transition, finally exploring "that diagnosis," or simply ready to go deeper.
Therapeutic Modalities
CBT, ACT, somatic awareness, attachment-based therapy, and Gottman Method for couples work.
Who I Work With
Adults navigating anxiety, identity, relationships, neurodivergence, life transitions, and more. I have deep experience with BIPOC/WOC, LGBTQ+, ENM, and late-diagnosed neurodivergent individuals.

All sessions are held via telehealth, making therapy accessible wherever you are in California.
